College: University of Texas at El Paso

Education:  Graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a teaching degree.  I received credits from New Mexico Junior College when I played basketball on a partial scholarship.  I graduated from Coronado High School in El Paso, TX.
Basketball Experience:  I played basketball since Jr. High and 4 years at Coronado High School in El Paso, TX.  After high school I played at New Mexico Jr. College on a partial scholarship.  When I left NMJC I officiated boys and girls high school basketball for 5 years with the Southwest Officials Association before I started coaching my own team.
Coaching Experience:  This is my 4th year with Tahoma High School  coaching the JV team.  I coached the ā€œCā€ team at Kentlake High School for 1 year;  I was assistant Varsity and freshman coach at Coronado High School in Henderson, NV for 3 years; I coached the 6th and 7th grade teams at St. John Vianney in Flint, MI for 1 year; and I was the coach for Ross Middle School in El Paso, TX for 6 years.  Other than basketball I have coached track, volleyball and softball at the schools where I was teaching.
Favorite Coach: Jody Conradt  was the head coach for the women's team at University of Texas at Austin . Her coaching career spanned 38 years. She had tallied 900 career victories, second place in all time victories for a NCAA Division I basketball coach.  During my high school years playing, I had the privilege of attending her basketball camp at UT Austin.
Family:  I have a wonderful family.  My husband of 17 years, Jim and 3 children who attend school in the Tahoma School District; Jacob, Kayla and Taylor.  All other extended family live in Ohio and Texas
Interests:  Basketball, volleyball, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
